Cave drawings by candlelight
Watch as the flickering candlelight illuminates the unique charcoal drawings in the caves.
The North Caves (Grotten Noord) in St Pietersberg hill are full of unique charcoal drawings. These were made long ago in dim conditions, so it is only natural that they are best seen by candlelight.
To recreate the conditions under which they were made, your tour guide will turn off the LED lights. The flickering candlelight will speak to the imagination and give the drawings an air of mystery. You will pick up on depth and details and experience the drawings as they were meant to be seen.
There are many cave drawings to be admired during the tour. The cave will be reserved exclusively for you and your friends, family, or colleagues. It will be empty, with no light from other groups, thereby creating an intimate atmosphere.
